Playoff Picture Forming

Posted at 9:29 pm on February 22, 2013

Jennifer Jones and Rachel Homan are through to the 1-2 page playoff game for this year’s Scotties Tournament of Hearts. That much is decided. Who else will join them in the playoffs? It will all come down to the final draw of round robin. There are a number of teams who can secure their spot should they win. Others, are hoping for a loss to book themselves a tie-breaker.

Team Canada and Team B.C. currently hold the last two playoff spots. But with one game remaining, a loss would drop either of them down into a tie-breaker position. A win for either team secures their spot in the next round.

Saskatchewan is the only other team with any life left in them. With a single game remaining in their round-robin schedule, Saskatchewan needs to win in order to have a chance for a tie-breaker. They’ll also need either Canada or B.C. to lose their final game.

Should a tie-breaker be necessarily, the game will be played Saturday morning. In the afternoon, we’ll see the page playoff games take place.

Spot on with this write-up, I truly believe this web-site needs a lot more consideration. I’ll quite possibly be again to read a lot more, thanks for that info.
